The Cootamundra Recreation geocache highlights the start of the newly created walking track built by the Cootamundra Shire for the benefit of residents.
The cache is located in a special area of public land that has been developed and maintained by a dedicated group of residents in the immediate vicinity both at the site of the cache and across the road along Dylon Avenue. You will see the area is used for family activities.
Above the cache you will see one special example of the extent these residents have gone to improve the local environment by providing local bird life, such as kookaburra a safe nesting place.
